An important movie of its time and with a message that still resonates today: older lesbians and gay men exist! Not only do we exist but we played our part in making LGBT life what it is today, in a society that was considerably more hostile than it is now.

This film talks to many older lesbians and gay men about their early lives and also the issues around growing old. Given that many of the interviewees grew up in the Twenties and Thirties, the film offers an insight into how LGBT people coped in a time when we were either deemed to be sick, criminal or dangerous.
