I’m posting this Wham! video for a couple of reasons.

The first is simply because its Christmas.

The second is to describe the relationship I had with the main performer in 1984.

Yes, it’s true. Unbelievable as it may seem, George Michael and I were mates with the woman who plays his ex-girlfriend.

I think he only knew her ‘professionally’, so to speak. I actually knew her in real life. (We were on the same course at the British School of Shiatsu in 1984/85).

As can be seen by the video, she was a very attractive woman and she had a lovely personality to match.
